not so ordinary
It is hard to describe yourself, your vision, your expertise without sounding cliché, but I truly love what I do and find myself incredibly blessed to be able to do it. I can honestly say, I found what I was called to do in life, and that's document other people's happiness. I have often found myself having conversations with complete strangers explaining my journey to becoming a professional photographer, and all I can ever say is, find what you truly love, and just do it, don't waste time or thought wanting to, just do.
I love looking through my camera and seeing something that not everyone else can see. I get excited to share that vision with my clients and hand them their final product and know that I'm giving them my very best work. I am not your average photographer--I get to know you, more than you may want me to: I will jump in and fix your hair so you won't have to worry if it looks okay, I will fix your makeup, run and get the bridal party coffee, pray with you, dance with you, cry with you, climb under layers of crinoline to bustle a wedding gown, give you my earring because you lost one of yours, burp your baby while you get yourself together, and hey, I've been known to dance with a few groomsmen here and there--I become a friend, a mother, a sister, a maid-of-honor, a florist, a make-up artist, and, above all, I'll be your memory maker. I look forward to meeting you.
